In Memory of Joanne "JoJo" Rivera

My name is Mia, the younger cousin of Joanne. I am organizing this page to help Joanne's dad with medical and funeral expenses. Any amount is really appreciated and I will ensure that 100% goes straight to these expenses.

Joanne was like a bright ray of sunshine. I know she was well loved, she loved hard, and she cared so much. Most of you know, she lost her mother, Annie, in February 2023. She struggled with the loss of her best friend but found her solace in spending time with friends, finding odd jobs, making and distributing lumpia to all. Joanne found joy in the simple things and loved to spread that joy to all she encountered.

Please use this page to help donate and to write your memories of Joanne so that her family can share in those memories with you no matter how ridiculous, how simple, how crazy.. Joanne was a tour de force and her shenanigans will live on in our memories because I know they definitely will for me.
