At the age of 63, Joann passed peacefully along side her children while listening to her favorite movie The Sound of Music early this morning, January 1st, 2025. She was a great mother. She spent a majority of her life raising her three children Anthony, Denae and Joseph in East LA. Joann was an amazing homemaker and was known to make one of a kind costumes for her children, and would continue to provide any and all things needed for her three babies through life’s growing pains. Through her extensive battle with Huntington’s disease, she still found the high points in life and the little things to enjoy. Whether it be through a piece of cake that satisfied her sweet tooth, playing cards, listening to Smokey, Janet and anything Motown. Watching her favorite movies, cheering on her favorite team the Los Angeles Dodgers, going to her grandchildren’s birthday parties and listening to her son sing. She is survived by her three children and her three grandchildren. During these hard times we ask for time to mourn privately.
