It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, and grandfather, Jimmy Ferguson. My dad was a man whose kindness, intelligence, and selflessness touched everyone he encountered. As a devoted father, husband, grandfather, brother, and friend, he always put others before himself, offering support and love without ever asking for anything in return.

An avid Rangers supporter, my dad shared his love of the club with me from a very young age. He started taking me to games when I was just 3 years old, and it was there, following in his footsteps, that I developed my own passion for the team. His love for Rangers was more than just about football—it was about the community and the spirit of togetherness that came with it.

My dad’s impact on my life went beyond football. He played an integral role in shaping who I am today. His guidance and support helped build my confidence and intelligence, giving me the tools I needed to start Loyal Blue FM. I couldn’t have done it without his knowledge, unwavering support, and constant encouragement. From setting up the station to attending every gig and helping out with streams when I was busy, he was there every step of the way. His belief in me was a driving force, and I will forever be grateful for everything he did.

Even in his final moments, my dad’s selflessness shone through. He was more concerned about my sister and me than his own health, showing just how deeply he loved and cared for us. His unwavering commitment to his family is something we will carry with us always.

As we make arrangements for his cremation and memorial, we are reaching out to friends, family, and the community for support in covering the associated costs. We want to honor my dad’s life in a way that reflects the incredible person he was—a man who always put others first and whose love knew no bounds.

A Special Request for Saturday's Stream and a Moment of Tribute at Ibrox

Additionally, we hope that there will be a 1-minute applause at the 57th minute during the Rangers vs Dundee game at Ibrox on Saturday in memory of my dad. The number 57 was significant to him, and this tribute would mean so much to our family during this difficult time.
