Hi, we are Paul and Nancy Burke, and we are reaching out to you to help honor Jillian's memory by supporting the JLK Sanfilippo Research Foundation. We established this nonprofit in 2006 to raise awareness and to fund research for Sanfilippo Syndrome Type C, a rare genetic disorder that affects children and their families (often refered to as "childhood alzheimers"). Our three daughters, Jillian, Lindsey and Kelsey were born with Sanfilippo Syndrome Type C. We are heartbroken that our oldest daughter, Jillian, lost her battle with Sanfilippo this summer. We would like to raise additional funds for research in her memory.
