My father Jesse Foley, known by many as Pelon, passed away peacefully overnight on June 25, 2025, shortly after his 56th birthday. He would tell you that he lived a very full life with no regrets and that he had more fun than any man ever should have had. He was loved by many and he left his mark on this world. Now he is riding free down the forever highway in the sky.

Although we knew my father was sick, we all thought we had more time. We were completely unprepared for him to enter home hospice and pass away shortly after making it home to Maine, and we had no savings for his passing. My father wished to be cremated and he asked that we throw a celebration of life party for those who loved him.

My uncles and I are trying to raise funds to pay our balance with the funeral home, purchase an urn, and take care of end of life expenses. We plan to have a small personal celebration of life sometime soon, with a larger memorial event being planned for November 2025.
