Hello, My name is Christina Hughes and I am hoping to raise money for my daddy Jerold Hughes. His life ended way too soon on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 1:55 a.m. My dad was a lifelong boat mechanic and had a huge heart that cared and loved so hard for so many. He had a precious soul that attracted all who knew him. He loved the water in any place, would sleep on the beach any day, and had a passion for boats that couldn't match any other. Unfortunately, my father suffered neglect at a facility that failed him in many of ways. He went there for rehab for his knee and left in an ambulance with a life-threatening infection. They never cared for his wound resulting in two very vicious infections. This resulted in two additional operations back to back. My father passed away without any insurance of any kind. The infection and a blood clot took my father away from me in a matter of just a few days.

I know life right now is hard for everyone. I never thought for one second I would be on this website today in this situation so humbly asking the kind-hearted ones of this world for assistance. God's people please open your hearts to this need for my daddy to be able to rest in peace.
