In Memory of Jeremiah Rohl

Donation protected
Jeremiah Rohl passed away unexpectedly yesterday when his heart gave out following a biopsy.

Jeremiah did not distinguish friendship from family. He was dangerously intelligent and lived with purpose. A loyal friend and fierce protector. A lover of animals, music, movies, travel, conversation, food, biking and wrestling. He was an intellectual who wouldn’t force his opinions onto others. Methodical and competitive. He was genuine and had a low tolerance for BS. He was my very good friend and I loved him like a brother. In every success that I have been blessed with in my life, there is a piece of Jeremiah. His taste in music influenced my pursuit in music. His competitiveness made me strong and unyielding. His honesty made me a loyal friend. His intellect inspired me to sharpen my mind. We became friends at age 8 when we were on the same little league team. We would laugh until our faces hurt, stay up all night playing Nintendo, jump on the trampoline and talk about everything. Nothing was off limits. No judgements were made. We forged each other for the world that lay before us. I am so blessed to have been a part of your life and you a part of mine. Though your sudden absence crushes my heart beyond what I thought was possible, I will accept this pain with the love it deserves. I will let it scar me as deep as it pleases, because it is the pain of letting you into my heart as my brother, and worth every agony for all the joy we shared.

Jeremiah's smile was infectious. His laid-back demeanor got me and many others through very tough and difficult times. The man taught me College Chemistry in two hours. He was a great man and he will be missed by many.

Jeremiah was not only a fellow Cardinal fan but one of those people who literally brightened the lives of so many his fun-loving spirit…he truly one of the GOOD ones. I’m blessed I had the chance to work along side him for a few years and to call him a friend.

Jeremiah Rohl is one of the greatest human beings I ever had the honor of calling a friend. We’re all going to have to shine a little brighter to replace the light we lost.

I will miss your goofy jokes and you making fun of me growing up. You never forgot to tell me happy birthday and knew just how to make me laugh. A beautiful soul I will never forget.

6 or so years ago we met Jeremiah at a friend’s Halloween party. We knew the second we met him that he was a genuinely nice guy. He was honestly probably one of the nicest guys that I’ve ever met. He always greeted you with a giant hug and his contagious smile. We became instant friends with he and his awesome wife Laura. You couldn’t hang around with without having fun.

Jeremiah Rohl was a great uncle to our Kayden. I will always remember his smile, his love for Laura, and the genuinely kind heart he had towards Ethan when we first meet. I will miss seeing the photos of the amazing adventures they would always have. I can honestly say they enjoyed every moment together and loved an amazing life.

Jeremiah, you will be greatly missed! We shared so many awesome times together and are heartbroken that we don’t get to spend more time with you, but will forever cherish the memories.
