In Loving Memory of Jennifer Lee Forster McNichols

It is with shattered hearts that we share the passing of Jennifer Lee Forster McNichols, who died peacefully in the ICU on November 4th.

On Sunday night November 3rd, Jenni experienced shortness of breath. This was something she had faced occasionally since her hospitalization last year for West Nile Virus. Despite her remarkable recovery in 2024, she had continued to experience lingering weakness and other health issues. Sunday night, Jenni's condition worsened suddenly, and her heart stopped. Though paramedics were able to restart her heart after prolonged CPR, an extended lack of oxygen caused irreversible brain injury. After exhaustive testing it became clear she would not recover.

As we navigate the heartbreak of her loss, Jeremiah is facing significant medical expenses from both her prior emergency care for West Nile Virus and most recent ICU stay. This GoFundMe has been created to help cover unexpected costs and ease the financial strain for Jeremiah during this transitional time.
