In Memory of Jenie Halmas
How to describe Jenie Halmas...?
Jenie was a mother, daughter, sister, coworker, friend - and she was so much more. Jenie was full of life, always put others first, and was always true to her word - and she was so much more. Jenie was caring, understanding, and giving even when it might hurt her to do so - and she was so much more. Jenie was special, she was the light of so many people's lives, and being Jenie she would never believe that about herself - and she was so much more. Jenie was funny, an undercover jokester, and could do it all with a pokerface to rival the best - and she was so much more. Jenie was Hello Kitty, pinkness, and decorating for every holiday and birthday - and she was so much more. Jenie often made our days bearable, made our lives better, and she made it all seem as effortless as snow falling from sky - and still, Jenie was so so much more...
We are setting up this page to honor and support Jenie, who did so much to support us but is no longer with us. We are setting up this page to honor and support Jenie's husband and family, who she loved so much and who will have many challenging days ahead. We are setting up this page to allow those who Jenie touched to be able to give back, in this one way we are still able to.
We are setting up this page for Jenie.
All monies donated will be collected and managed by her co-workers at the Department of Health, Developmental Disabilities, Case Management Unit 2, organized by Scott O'Neal - Jenie's husband has authorized me to collect these funds on their behalf. Once this fundraiser closes, on 6/30/2021, all monies collected will be presented to Jenie's husband and family for them to use as they see fit to best support their family. The goal $$ amount is just a number, whatever the final total is will be given.
Mahalo and Aloha, Jenie.
Mahalo and Aloha, Jenie's husband, her 2 young sons, and their new baby girl.
Mahalo and Aloha, all whose lives Jenie touched.
