Jenice D'Costa may have been a scientist, but was first and foremost a mother.

I have known Jenice for nearly 10 years and met her through work. However, our daughters independently became close friends in elementary school, creating a close connection between our families. Jenice and I occasionally talked about work, but our discussions primarily focused on our girls: their diverse interests, overcoming academic challenges, and the emotional rollercoaster of growing up.
