In Memory of Jeffrey Cheung

“If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.”

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we write of the passing of our dear brother, son, cousin, nephew, partner, and best friend Jeffrey Cheung. In May of 2023, at only 34 years old, Jeffrey was diagnosed with a very aggressive stage 4 gastric adenocarcinoma. Jeffrey fought long and hard for the past few months and made the difficult decision to transition to home hospice. On July 25, 2023, Jeff passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home.

At the time of his passing, Jeff was surrounded by those that he loved and those who loved and cared for him back so deeply. He is survived by his two loving parents Linda and Tin, his brother James, sister Janette, brother-in-law Eric, and fiancée Tram.

Jeff was a tremendous light in everyone's life. He literally had a million-dollar smile that would instantly illuminate every room. Jeff was gregarious, funny, light-hearted, and one of the most sentimental and selfless dudes you’d ever meet. He loved running, basketball, tennis, weight lifting, and eating. Jeff could never turn down a good meal or the opportunity to share it with those he loved. Jeff simply had the biggest, kindest heart and made everyone around him feel loved. He always strived to support his friends and family in any way that he could.
