My mother Jean Fraser passed away on August 15th, 2025 after battling with many health problems. She had dealt with a rare disease called Scleroderma for over 30 years, along with rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, liver cirrhosis, blood clot disorder, and many more.
Although she had a lot going on, she tried to continue to do one of her biggest passions which was artwork. She focused on painting but in her last few years she focused more on drawings and pastels.
She wanted to be in an art show, because her artwork has never been on display for people to see and enjoy. I want to help her achieve her dream to share her work, along with raising money to donate on her behalf to two foundations she really cared about.
The first is dedicated to Scleroderma Atlantic Society, to help other families who have a loved one who suffers from this disease. The second is CARMA Cat Rescue, where they take care of local stray cats.
