It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dad Jason Leon Lang. Jason was known by his family and friends as JayBird, a free spirited traveling man, flying through life the way he wanted. He was a member of the Karuk tribe in Northern California. 

Jason always had an ‘“open door” policy in his household, as he had a big heart and a very witty personality. He was an artist and appreciated a work of art and photography, more than having worldly possessions. His greatest treasures were his friends and the family around him. He was a son, brother, dad, uncle, grandfather, and a friend. He will be missed greatly by all the people who’s hearts he touched.

My family and I would like to raise funds for his memorial service, so we can all re-unite and give him a send off he deserves. We know times are hard for everyone, and any donations would help us greatly as our family has also been affected by the Northern California wildfires.

All proceeds will go directly to the memorial service and anything left over will go directly to his family members. Our family appreciates all the love and support flowing in, and we thank you so much for helping us with JayBirds final flight.
