Dear Friends and Family,
It is with a heavy heart that we share the unexpected passing of Jay Meyers, who left us far too soon due to a blood clot in his brain. Jay was a loving husband to his precious wife, Sandy, and they shared a beautiful marriage of 22 years. As we navigate this difficult time, we want to come together to support Sandy during this challenging period.
Jay was a one-of-a-kind man who enriched the lives of everyone around him. He grew up in Roselle and had a passion for many things that brought him joy. He was a devoted fan of the Mets, Giants, and NASCAR. He loved attending concerts and cheering for his favorite bands, particularly Rush. His love for life and humor was contagious, bringing laughter and happiness to countless moments. He cherished and loved his wife, Sandy, with everything in his heart and body. They were the best of friends, and their bond will forever remain unbreakable.
Jay also cherished Sandy and his furry companions, including his beloved cat, Nikki, and Haley. He enjoyed being greeted by lovable Hunter. They will miss his presence tremendously. He would reminisce about playing ball with Harley, who Jay missed greatly.
His sense of humor brightened our lives, whether through his playful antics or his excitement during fireworks displays. Jay always enjoyed a good time with his friends. From daily phone calls with Matt to hanging out at Clark Legion with the guys and going to concerts, they will forever honor him and keep his memory and name alive. Every firework will reach the heavens for you, Jay. Tim will make you proud; you know it, buddy!
With Jay’s sudden departure, we want to ensure that Sandy is supported through this difficult time, both emotionally and financially. The costs associated with the funeral and the unexpected burdens that come with such a loss can be overwhelming. Our goal is to raise funds to alleviate some of these pressures, allowing Sandy to focus on remembering Jay and healing.
Your support, whether through donations or sharing this campaign, will make a tangible difference in Sandy’s life as she faces these challenges. Jay loved his devoted wife, who stood by his side through all of life’s challenges. She has spent countless years and nights taking care of Jay in recent years, supported by Lee Ann, Jay’s beloved sister-in-law. Jay and Sandy always had the utmost support and help from Lee Ann and father-in-law, Robert, when the odds were against him. She always kept hope and love alive for him, and that love will always carry on.
Please let’s honor Jay’s memory by coming together for his beloved wife during this difficult time. Thank you for your kindness, love, and support.
Together, we can help Sandy navigate this difficult journey, honoring Jay’s life in a meaningful way. It’s not goodbye to Jay… it’s see you again.
