April 26.21Another update:
it’s been two months since Jays departure but we are all at peace knowing he is with our lord and savior. I hold true to helping others by way of this money. While some was used for funeral we continue to leave the link open to spread the word.  We must help those who are suffering from thoughts of suicide and we must be there to help. Many veterans sacrifice so much for us. Yes , for us. Our freedom is invaluable because of them. Today I came across this video. Let’s continue to help and spread awareness. I have continued to make calls and have planned to see how the local veteran office in our city can provide leads for those who are seeking help but cannot afford it due to processing of paperwork.. we shouldn’t let paperwork stand In the way of getting help. That’s where we come in.. with funds we can at minimum pay their first session to help them see there is light at the end of the tunnel. ❤️

Update: Thank you to all of you for your donations and continued prayers.  It is still very hard to believe that our brother is not here with us but we know he is resting and with our Lord and Savior.  God Bless all of you and your families.

My brother, Juan Jesus Garcia, known to all of his family and friends as Jay Jay passed on February 27,2021.  He was a very fun loving man and what made him happiest was to help others in need and spending time with his kids and his family.  He loved his children very much. Jay loved a good barbecue and good music and yes..a good beer!  He made a very modest living as a self employed  mechanic and learned everything on his own.  He was well respected and loved by many.  My brother served very briefly in the US Marine Corp but as a young marine  his service was not as long as he had hoped.  As he matured later in life my brother set up a non profit in 2015.    He was very proud of this organization and the purpose was to help veterans in Crisis however it was not enough o help him overcome his own life crisis and as his Ruck brothers stated- he is now at his permanent duty station in Heaven.  Many of you have reached out to see how you can help and honestly with such a sudden loss funeral expenses are definitely something we would be appreciative to receive help with.  If any funds remain, I wish to carry on my brothers legacy by helping veterans in need with a focus on mental health.

Jay leaves behind 5 children and a grand daughter whom he loved very much. Please keep our family in your continued prayers as we try to navigate through this very trying time of my brothers loss.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
