Our beloved Jay Acena Bandayrel recently passed on August 21, 2021. Jay was a wonderful father, husband, son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his two beautiful sons, Aaron Jei and Aiden Jaxon, and his loving wife Michelle.

Jay dedicated his whole life to his family and friends, as well as being a devoted colleague and technician to his dialysis patients and DaVita Monterey Park facility for the past 25 years. His passion was cycling and has met so many wonderful people in that community alone. The outpouring of love and support from each and every community that Jay has been a part of has been so overwhelming, and it truly comforts us to know that he's touched the lives of many.

We are all devastated by Jay’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Jay the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory, and say our last goodbyes.

We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Jay’s funeral. Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help our family during this difficult time. Any excess amount will go directly to Jay's two sons and their future.
