In Memory of Javier Castro: Cherished Brother And Son
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
It is with a heavy heart that I share that Javier Castro, my brother, was taken to Heaven on his way home from work on January 28, 2025, at the young age of 22.
Javi was a beloved son and brother who brought immense joy, love, and light to our lives and everyone he met. He cared deeply for his family. He especially loved being an uncle to his nephews. As a new father myself, Javi would often ask me, "Where is your son?" and then go find him and sit with him. He loved every minute of it. Not only was Javi a loving uncle, brother, and son, but he was also a man of many passions. Growing up, we learned about cars from watching our dad do mechanic work. Though all three of us brothers were interested in it, Javi made a career out of it. He was a good mechanic, just like our dad, and would often show my dad new tricks, something that brought my dad great pride and joy. He was the best soccer player I knew and a steadfast peace wherever he went. Though there will never be enough words to express what his life means to us, this is Javi, and this is how we will forever remember him (Rest in Peace, my brother).
As we search for peace and solace during this time of mourning, we face the difficult task of arranging Javi's final farewell. We want to honor his life and give him the sendoff he deserves. We are reaching out to our family, friends, community, and anyone who has it in their heart to help for support. Any financial contribution, no matter how small, will help lift the financial stress and allow us to focus on grieving and remembering Javi. All funds will go toward the costs associated with funeral arrangements.
We are also asking for support through prayer. Javi loved the Lord, and we can feel God's nearness in this time. Your prayers mean more than you know.
Thank you for helping honor my brother's life. We are grateful for your compassion and generosity.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Carlos and the Castro Family
