It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason Rigby, who tragically passed away at the age of 40 while living and working as Executive Assistant Manager at Crowne Plaza Nadi, Fiji, on December 14, 2024.

Jason was found with stab wounds, and the initial ruling was suspected suicide. It was only because of our family’s fight to keep asking questions that his case has since been reclassified as a crime, and it remains an open investigation to this day.

Every single day since has been a fight, managing two sets of lawyers, one in Fiji and one in Australia, constant flights back and forth as the investigation unfolds, and doing everything in our power to get Jason the truth and justice he deserves. All of this while still raising our four kids and trying to hold life together for them through it.

The costs are already enormous, legal fees across two countries, flights, and everything else a family still has to carry day to day, and they will only grow as we push toward our day in court. It hasn’t slowed down once, and it isn’t going to.
