In memory of Jason Avakian

Hello, I am Brittney and I have started this Go Fund me on behalf of my Aunt Karen and her 3 children Nayeli, Astreae, and Grant. We have suffered another unspeakable loss in my Uncle Jason. On 7/20/23, he was diagnosed with a very rare and dangerous aneurysm. He had a very risky surgery which at first was successful. Unfortunately he suffered a serious stroke a few days later and since then things have been up and down. On 8/4/23, his brain developed a bleed and it’s not something he can recover from. His organs will be donated which we know is what he wanted.

Uncle Jason was just the best of people. He loved his family and friends fiercely. My favorite thing about Uncle was always how much he cheered on the people he loved. He will be greatly missed, and he was far too young at 47. Our hearts were already so broken after losing my mom (his older sister Cristi) and my other uncle Chris (his best friend and my Aunt Ronna’s-his other sisters- husband) in back  to back years-and now this. 

There are really no words other than what I said which just doesn’t do this tragedy justice. This account is being set up to help the family with the funeral expenses and any extra Karen may need to support her children and household. Thank you for any kind of support you will or have given our family through thoughts, prayers, kind words, or the meal train. It’s appreciated more than we can say.
