Our family lost a beautiful soul on Monday, June 2nd, but heaven gained another amazing angel, Janet Rosetta Fernandez. Not only was she our rock, but she also went by many other names. Whether it was Janet, Jan, Mom, or Mema, she was loved by all who crossed her path. Her strong-willed nature of "just get it done" shone bright no matter the obstacle. She fought a very lengthy uphill battle after her stroke in late 2023 and then several seizures since mid-2024; however, she always seemed to power through them to make the best out of the circumstances until the very end when it seemed her powers just weren't enough as she became tired, and the energy just vanished.
