In Loving Memory of Jana Al-Maktary
In April, our dear friends Shoqi and his wife Kisma learned that their 7-year old daughter, Jana, had acute leukemia. After a grueling month in hospital, where she battled her cancer courageously, beloved Jana passed away on May 1st.
Many of us love and admire Shoqi, Kisma, and their family, and want to support them at this excruciatingly difficult time. We know that we cannot alleviate their profound pain, however, we also know that we can come together to honour Jana’s memory by supporting the charity, which Shoqi and Kisma have chosen: Hospital 57357, in Egypt, which specializes in preventing and combating cancer through research, smart education, and quality healthcare, provided with passion and justice to alleviate the suffering of children with cancer and their families, free of charge.
Together, towards cancer‐free childhood, worldwide, in loving memory of Jana Al-Maktary.
