In Memory of Jan Moreira

Our amazing student, Jan Moreira, passed due to organ failure on May 18th 2022.

Jan had just turned 14 on April 25th. He was a special boy who had a special place in everyone’s heart. He had an amazing energy and joy that lit up a room. He made a connection with everyone he encountered. Jan made people laugh. He was a kind spirit.

Jan loved a good party. He enjoyed dancing and singing and having a great meal with friends and family. Every morning he would come to school and tell us he was happy, give a quick dab and a peace sign.

Jan will be missed by everyone whose life he touched. His family is struggling emotionally as well as financially to set up arrangements. They will be having a small ceremony here but need to host his family from Ecuador as well as take him back to the country after he is cremated.

To honor Jan's memory and to help his family, we are setting up a collection to help them in any way possible.
