In Loving Memory of James "Dancing James" Spears

On July 8, 2026, our hearts were broken when we unexpectedly lost our beloved James Spears in a tragic accident in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Where he was struck by a box truck after midnight off the highway 43 and Keefe Ave.

James was lovingly known as "Dancing James." His infectious smile, kind heart, and joyful spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met. James was autistic, and dancing was one of the greatest joys of his life. Whenever the music played, he came alive, sharing his happiness with everyone around him. His love for dance wasn't just something he enjoyed—it was how he expressed himself and connected with the world.

Although James lived with autism and a mental disability, those challenges never stopped him from being himself. He embraced life with joy, authenticity, and a loving heart. He taught everyone around him that happiness can be found in the simplest moments, and his determination and positive spirit inspired so many.

James brought laughter, love, and light into the lives of his family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know him. His unique personality and unwavering joy will never be forgotten. Although our hearts are heavy with grief, we want to honor his memory by celebrating the beautiful life he lived and the happiness he brought to so many.
