In memory of James O'Sullivan
Donation protected
In May 2020, we lost a shining light in our lives, when James tragically died from a bleed on his brain. James was just 40 at the time, leaving his wife Eileen, his then 3-year old son Billy, and his then 5-month old son George, to cope with his cruel passing.
George, who is now 5, is a happy, intelligent and fun-loving boy, with a thirst for divilment. George has been diagnosed as Autistic and is attending St Patrick's National School, Hollypark, Blackrock. He is thriving in their recently opened Autism class.
James still looms large in our hearts and minds, and his memory burns brightly in the form of Eileen's courage in the face of adversity, as well as the love, laughter, and joy that his sons Billy and George bring to so many.
To mark James' 5th anniversary, we will be doing the usual 5kms run/jog/walk in Kilbogget Park on Saturday, May 3rd. We will listen to the music he loved, and tell stories about an incredible man. This year, we have added a fundraising element to the day, and hope to raise €5k (or as much as possible!). The funds will be evenly distributed to George's Autism class (RCN 20118341 ) and Neurodiversity Ireland (RCN 20206465).
If you can make a donation of any size, it would be gratefully received. These funds will serve to improve the lives of the children, parents and communities served by the school and Neurodiversity Ireland.
5 years has gone in the blink of an eye James. A lot has changed, but now, just like then, it looks like your beloved Liverpool will be league champions…
In memory of James, forever missed, never forgotten.
