In memory of James McHugh

I am starting this page on behalf of my father who passed away far too soon at the age of 65.

Jim McHugh was a loving husband, a proud father, a supportive teacher and a great friend who touched the lives of many in our community. He devoted 36 years to teaching “everyone’s favorite” Math. He was an incredible role model for not only his own children, but a large community of students the he believed in, and helped spread his love of “Numbers.”

Jim had the strength of a Dragon and kicked cancers behind for just over 14 years, never letting his fight interfere with teaching, being an amazing father & husband, travels or looking around each corner for new goals to strive for.

While he had been battling for many years, his passing was very sudden and unexpected. We are truly grateful for the outpouring love and support. Many have asked what they can do to help as we mourn the loss of such an incredible human. If you would like to contribute to honor Jim’s life and assist in reducing the additional stress of any financial worry surrounding his passing. We cannot thank you enough and appreciate everyone for their support.

We will be having a memorial/celebration of life mid March for anyone who would like to come. Date and location is TBA
