Despite ever accelerating receding hairlines and chafe-inducing dadbods, Oscar Absalom and Pat Fake are running the Lucerne Marathon on the 25th of October. To help pull themselves around the course, they're running in memory of their dear friend, James Higgin, and raising funds for the local Skate scene which was one of James' passions.

James was the best of blokes. Devilishly witty, super fun to be around, always kind and ludicrously talented. One of his passions was skateboarding. His natural ability and flair was coupled with a persistence and competitiveness that meant he spent many hours and days at the skate parks in Bovey, Ilsington and Ashburton.

It's for this reason that Oscar and Pat will be raising money for the local skate scene in the areas that James frequented most. All funds raised will be donated to not-for-profit skating events in the local area, such as the Ashburton Skate Jam and to local skate parks, so that James' memory supports the next generation of local skaters.

So please give generously and if you'd like to keep informed of how the funds are used, leave your contact details on the form.

Cheers then!
