In Memory of Jake: Support for Beth, Quinn, and Nolan
Donation protected
Jake Hartsoch was one in a million. He was a poet, a mountaineer, a writer of code, a fixer of problems, a devoted friend, and, most importantly, an adoring father and husband. He lost his life on September 8 far too early, but in the place he loved most in the world. Jake's generosity extended to all: if you needed a bike, he'd find you a bike and tune it to perfection. If you wanted to learn to climb, he would guide you up the North Twin. He encouraged, taught, and helped us all, then humbled us with his outrageous endurance mountaineering endeavors. His legacy will live on in the mountains and trails of the Pacific Northwest.
Many of you have asked how you can be supportive of Beth, Quinn, and Nolan. Should you feel compelled, there are significant expenses associated with Jake's passing, and contributions would be gratefully accepted. Any funds that exceed what is needed to get the family through the next few weeks will go towards a memorial for Jake.
