Our hearts are broken as we share that my baby sister, Jaelyne, passed away far too soon. She was only 26 years old, but in her short time here, she touched so many lives with her kindness, laughter, and beautiful spirit.

Jaelyne’s life wasn’t easy. She faced battles with not only her physical health but her mental health as well, struggles that began after years of pain and loss, including the passing of our mom in 2023. Despite it all, she still had the biggest heart and made huge impacts on any person who ever met her. She loved deeply, cared for others more than herself, and had a way of making people feel seen and loved. In her final months, Jaelyne’s health declined rapidly. She became very ill, and despite our hopes, prayers, and every effort to get her better, her body just couldn’t keep fighting. We were by her side through it all — from the day she was born to the day she left this world.

We are now preparing to say goodbye in a way that honors her life. We plan to have her cremated and hold a memorial, releasing butterflies or lanterns at the beach to send her spirit off surrounded by love.

This GoFundMe will help cover her cremation, memorial, and any remaining expenses to give her the peaceful goodbye she deserves. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference and help us focus on grieving and remembering her.
