Hello all... Kristin Woodrow has been one of the steady voices for countless law enforcement officers and deputies in Pierce County for decades. While she has manned the console sending units to the county's many daily emergencies, she has not once, but multiple times been there when her own family's heartbreak had been called in on our 911 lines.

On Thursday, February 16th, the unimaginable happened when 911 received a call from Kinsey, Kris' oldest daughter. Kinsey stated that Kristin's 2-month-old grandson, Jackson William Horn, was not breathing. While our 911 operator gave CPR instructions, Kris left her console and raced to be at Kinzie's side.

As some of you may know, and remember, Kinsey suffered severe burns at just 2 years old. Despite the odds, Kinsey grew up to be a beautiful and courageous young woman, like her mom. Kinsey married a soldier last year, George Horn, and in December, they welcomed their first child, sweet baby Jackson, creating their beautiful family.

There are no words to describe how devastated the Woodrow and Horn families are at the loss of their sweet baby Jackson.
