For those who knew him, Ivan lived life to the fullest! He showed others that even when you have a hard time growing up, you can still have a smile on your face, raise beautiful children, and show them how kind and compassionate the world can be. Ivan was that person; he loved his children, family, and friends, but never looked at a stranger without offering help, because he had been there at one point in his life.

Homemade cooking was a passion of his, and he shared it with many. He loved seeing the smiles that came across people's faces after he fed anyone and made sure they went home full. If you left his home hungry, it was your own fault! The happiness that he carried around him was something that will be remembered.

If you knew him, it was hard to be sad around him. He would tell a joke, then suddenly everyone would be laughing, and there wouldn’t be a sour face around. There is sadness without him, and he will be so dearly missed by those who were family, friends, or just saw his smiling face.
