In Memory of ISCM Edward F. Dillard

Donation protected

On Tuesday, December 6, 2016, Edward F. Dillard was called home to his eternal rest with his wife Lisa Lockett-Dillard by his side.

Some may or may not know, our Brother and friend Edward (Ed) Dillard suffered a severe heart attack last year in October. This ordeal left Ed hospitalized, unresponsive and restricted to a bed for the past 15 months. While many have hoped and prayed for a recovery unfortunately Ed’s condition had taken a turn for the worst and regrettably his health declined. His family made the most difficult decision to remove his ventilator and not allow him to suffer any further. Lisa, being strong in her Christian faith, had turned Ed’s health over to God. Pray for the Dillard family in this most difficult of times.

Ed Dillard was the type of man, husband, brother, father, friend, shipmate and mentor who would find time for everyone. His generosity and heart was second to none! As a former Navy Intelligence Community manager he leaves a profound footprint of PRIDE and PROFESSIONALISM. The Intel community and Ed's friends are asking all that can, to give in hopes to help ease some of the financial burden that comes along with any unexpected and lengthy illness . Let's help minimize some of the financial burden Lisa will face while covering hospital and burial expenses. This would be a huge blessing for the Dillard family.

Ed was an active member in his church, at Fourth Baptist in Portsmouth VA. He served as a Trustee where his services will be held under the direction of Rev. Dr. Charles W. Beamon.
