He was eloquent, intelligent, and witty—one of the smartest people I’ve ever met. I used to say I wished I had his brain—he just got it, effortlessly.

But even beyond his intellect, it was his kindness that left the deepest mark. He was caring, compassionate, and incredibly thoughtful. He had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and valued. Simply put—he was awesome to know.

He was an amazing son. Please, if you take anything from this, let it be that: he was an amazing son.
