Ira’s Obituary:

Ira Quincy Hickman, age 53 passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024. His greatest honor was being a father. He loved his kids more than he loved his profession. He was proud to be a Lineman and tried to talk everyone he knew into joining this profession. He traveled the world working on lines and dangled from helicopters and buckets for the experience. His biggest dream was to do line work in Antarctica. We hope he’s there now. For a man that was afraid of heights, this was a treat. He tried to conquer his fears by jumping out of airplanes for fun. He spent time in prison. He was released daily because he was actually a guard. He was outspoken and took a joke as well as he told one. He always had a story to tell whether it was true or not.

He will be missed.
