In Memory of Hutch

It is hard to type this post, but it is an important post to make. Late last week Cumberland Trail Connection lost our proprietor, Doug "Hutch" Hutchins. Hutch was a guy with a big heart and always wanted to help people. Over the years the amount of touring trips he helped to save by picking people up along the trails, providing free service, and just giving good hospitality is hard to count. Hutch was also a big time beer guy and had his hands in the local brewing scene for decades. I really hope he just finished a mountain bike ride and is sitting in a chair with an Imperial IPA in hand, telling stories and laughing. I hope we get the chance to cross paths again one day.

Until then, please remember Hutch the next time you brew a beer or take a swig of your favorite IPA.
