May Allah forgive and have mercy upon Hussain and his father and make their graves gardens from the gardens of Jannah. Ameen.

This is the least we can do for them, and in doing so, we also earn rewards for ourselves. The best gift we can give them now is Sadaqah Jaariyah (continuous charity)—a blessing that will benefit them in the Hereafter.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jaariyah, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him." (Muslim)

Just as we hope Allah will send people to do good on our behalf when we are gone, let us be those who do good for those who have already departed.
