In memory of Holli Carnes

Holli Carnes was set to start her senior year at Sequoyah High School in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and a bright light to everyone who knew her. She was the youngest of three beautiful sisters in her family, a beloved aunt, and an incredible softball player with so much life ahead of her. Holli tragically lost her life in a tragic accident, leaving her family, friends, classmates, and community in deep shock and heartbreak. Her mother Claudia Carnes is a teacher at Woodall Elementary for 17 years, and her father Sergeant Todd Carnes has been a Tahlequah Police Officer for 20 years. This is a family that has spent years serving and caring for others in our community, and now they are facing an unimaginable loss of their own.

This fundraiser is being created to help take the burden of funeral costs and daily expenses off the shoulders of Holli’s family so they can focus on grieving, healing, and being together during this painful time. No parent should have to carry this kind of heartbreak while also worrying about finances. Any support, no matter the size, will mean so much to Holli’s family.
