Please Support Helen’s Children As They Grieve Sudden Loss Of Their Mom

We are heartbroken to announce the sudden and tragic loss of our beloved Helen, who passed in her sleep on August 23rd. We are asking everyone to help support her children as they begin to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of what is now the loss of both their parents.

Helen was a beautiful, kind, compassionate soul who touched the lives of so many; she was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and loyal friend. Those who knew her witnessed firsthand her unparalleled devotion to her children, Sonja (16) and Mateo (14), who have already experienced the trauma of losing their dad Dino in 2017. Helen poured all her efforts into ensuring a warm, supportive home for Sonja and Mateo in the aftermath of Dino’s death, single-handedly managing their move to a new home, new school and new community. With Helen’s love and support, they flourished and thrived and were able to cope with their new normal.

Tragically, Sonja and Mateo must once again process unimaginable loss and prepare themselves for life without the light and love of their mom. We would be grateful for any support you could give to help ensure they can focus on healing and recovering from this unfathomable loss. Your support can help offset their future financial challenges and help them prepare for the life Helen envisioned for them, including maintaining their home, securing the healthcare and support they need and finishing their education.
