In Loving Memory of Hana Yared Sedeta

It is with deep sorrow that the Oromo Evangelical Church of Columbus, Ohio, announces the sudden passing of our beloved sister, Hana Yared Sedeta, on August 5th, 2025.

Hana was a devoted and active member of our church community. Her kind heart, strong faith, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. She was not only a cherished friend and sister in Christ but also a loving wife and mother.

Hana is survived by her beloved husband, Tesfaye Melaku Abdisa, and their three beautiful children:

A one-year-old,

A seven-year-old, and

An eleven-year-old.

Her unexpected passing has left her family heartbroken and her children without the guidance and love of their mother.
