Hal Holst as most people knew him passed away at Riverview Hospital in Red Bank, NJ on April 2, 2020 at the age of 66. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Red Bank. He was a graduate of Rumson Fair Haven Regional High School 1972, Brookdale Community College 1974 and Southern Connecticut State College 1977.
Hal lived in Rumson for most of his life. He also lived in New Haven Connecticut for several years during and after college, he then moved back to Rumson where he lived for many years before moving to Red Bank in 2015, where he lived until his death.
Hal is survived by his sister Lisa Cooper and brother-in-law John Cooper in Arizona. He also has several cousins / Aunts in NJ, PA and VA, as well as many friends and members of the Church who loved and cared about him. He will be missed by many who are a part of various community theatres in the area.
