In Memory of Haddon James Hampton

Donation protected
As many in our community have heard, our church family experienced a magnificent loss yesterday.  Our pastor, Jason Hampton, and his wife, Marri, lost their two year old son, Haddon, in a tragic accident.  Haddon was truly a bright light of joy, whose absence will be forever felt. The Hamptons and their four older children are reeling in the wake of this tragedy, but holding fast to God’s truths and promises.  As a congregation, we are coming around them in prayer and support in all ways possible.  Please join us in prayers for comfort, healing, and strength as our congregation and The Hamptons fight to remember God’s goodness in the midst of heartache.

Services will be held this Saturday, July 7th, from 9-11am at Village Bible Church in Greenwood.  A burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers or meals, we are asking that you join us in supporting The Hampton’s time of bereavement by making a monetary or gift card donation.  It is our desire to provide the family with the necessary time to process, mourn, and heal without the financial burdens of funeral costs, bills, counseling, and loss of work.
Grocery gift cards can be sent via email to [email redacted].

We very much appreciate your prayers and support as we walk through this difficult time!
