In Loving Memory of Gustavo Velazquez
Donation protected
It is with great sorrow to come here and talk about the passing of my friend Gustavo Velazquez. On Thursday night, April 6th, Gustavo was impacted by a truck on his way home from work while riding his bike. My name is David Maclennan, and I'm asking for donations to help Gustavo's family cover his funeral cost and other expenses.
Gustavo always had a ray of sunshine that filled the room. He had a sweet soul full of love and a kind heart that always brought warmth and comfort. There was never a moment where he failed to make you smile and laugh. Gustavo was an amazing son, brother, and friend, but especially an amazing person. He left a legacy, a mark that won't be erased.
Gustavo, some friends are more like brothers who you can call, and they will be there for you, and now you're an angel watching over us. You have a family who made me feel like I was part of it. You were the brother God gave me who knew how to listen, my accomplice in many adventures. Now that you have moved on, you're starting life over again, just as you talked about. I didn't think it would be like this. Even though this separation hurts me, and even with all my pain from your departure, I hope his trip is truly beautiful, as was your smile and soul… Thank you for being there when times were tough. God will now be your partner, and your adventures will be eternal. You will have friends who will never forget you, and you will be the reason to look at the sky… Goodbye, my brother. I love you
