In Memory of Gustavo Fuentes
This is my Daddy, Gustavo Fuentes. I'm his daughter Alma Fuentes and I'm trying to help raise money for his funeral.
We lost him Oct 31st. He left behind my Mom, sister, and little brother. He was the greatest dad, he taught us the value of hard work and supported us through thick and thin. No matter what Daddy was there for us, and now I want to be there for him by helping the family raise money for a proper funeral.
A little bit about my Daddy:
Gustavo Fuentes was born in Guatemala in 1953. He dedicated much of his youth spreading the word of Christ. As a youth minister, he met a lovely young lady by the name of Alma. They fell in love and had three wonderful children. In 1984, wanting a better future for his family, he brought us to the United States. There he began working odd jobs until eventually, he was able to buy us a home to live in. He became a first-rate dad.
He raised us to live in the word of Jesus Christ, teaching us how to let Him into our hearts. He made sure we understood the importance of a good education and how hard-work is always worth it. When he became a Grand Daddy he made sure his grandkids learned all the stuff we did. He knew how to be a Dad, even how to win the ugly sweater contest! He loved Christ, and he loved his family. WE LOVED HIM TOO!
I miss my Daddy. He would call me his little princess, his soul fountain. But I'm not the only one that misses him. He has a big family that loves him so very much. We all miss him so very much. Te amo Papi!
Thank you all for reading this and for helping us out. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
