In Memory of Gunter

With a heavy heart, we regret to inform our families and friends that our beloved puppy Gunter passed away yesterday due to end stage liver failure. Because of how young and playful Gunter was, we had no indication that this diagnosis was in the realm of possibility for our sweet boy. However, we knew something was very off with him on Monday, which is why we brought him in to the ER. After we heard the news about his labs, we tried everything we could from hospitalization to treatment, medications, and countless prayers that perhaps there was a small chance it was something reversible. Unfortunately, it became clear that he was born with a liver defect, and all the treatment in the world could not help. We will always love Gunter with all our hearts, and know how much he touched the hearts of those around. He truly fought with everything he had up until his last moments. This has been taken an enormous emotional and financial toll on our little family. At this time, we would greatly appreciate any donation to assist with this process, if you are able to contribute.
