In Memory of Grisel Marcano: Funeral Support Needed

In Loving Memory of Grisel Marcano

On May 15, 2025, we suddenly lost our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and daughter Grisel Marcano. Grisel was a force of nature—an endless source of energy and light. She had a way of drawing people in, like a moth to a flame, making every room she walked into brighter. Whether you knew her for a day or a decade, you knew exactly where you stood with her. Her "no-bull" attitude meant she always gave it to you straight—whether you wanted to hear it or not. But if you needed advice, or the truth, she was the one to turn to. And she didn’t just give you one perspective; she made sure you saw the good and bad, all of it, and all from a place of love.

Grisel had just begun her journey of recovery. She was so excited about reuniting with her family, getting out, and making new memories. Her drive, her strength, and her pure love for everyone around her is what defined her. She was always determined, always beautiful—inside and out. We are devastated by her passing, but we also know that we should be incredibly proud of all she accomplished in her life.

But this loss is even harder for us as just 11 months earlier, we lost our dear brother and son, James Marcano, on June 12, 2024. The pain of losing them both in such a short span of time feels unbearable. James and Grisel are now together, but we are left to carry on without them, and we are asking for your help during this incredibly difficult time.

We Need Your Help:
We are seeking to raise $15,000 to cover medical examinations and funeral expenses to give our mother the memorial she truly deserves. We want to honor her in the way we know she would’ve wanted—surrounded by love, respect, and dignity.

If you can find it in your heart to contribute, no matter how big or small, it would mean the world to us. If you’re unable to donate, we completely understand. Please consider sharing her story with your friends and family, and keeping us all in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this heartbreaking time.

Thank you for supporting us as we honor the memory of a woman who was everything to us.
