In Memory of Gordy Hetrick

Hi Friends,

 

As many of you know, we lost a friend, teammate, and local legend this week, Gordy Hetrick.

 

Gordy leaves his daughters, Lindsay Kristine, and Lacey Erin; I know a lot of you know the girls, and like me, watched them grow up.

 

Lindsay and Lacey are now navigating the details of laying their Dad to rest, which is a difficult and heartbreaking task.

 

In addition, the girls have the responsibility of dispersing of Gordy’s “Amazing Lifetime Collection of Stuff”!

 

Given Gordy’s love of collecting, this will no doubt be a momentous task!

 

 

I’m hoping we can make this situation a little easier for the girls, at least financially. Gordy had so many friends, and I know everyone is looking for a way to help and to honor Gordy.

 

Please consider donating in memory of Gordy and how he touched your life, whether it was as family, a friend, a teammate, or coach.

 

All donations will be greatly appreciated. We are hoping to cover all the expenses listed above. We also hope to use donations toward the memorial service for Gordy, which will be held April 23rd at the Webberville Ballfields.
