In memory of Gordon Clark
Donation protected
My Father, Gordon Clark recently passed away. There are some modest Celebration of Life expenses that we could use some help with and we'd also like to honor his memory by supporting a cause that he loved,
In the weeks leading up to his death, Gordon was lit up by music. Music triggered some of his most deep felt emotions and memories. Here was his final song request. 'Round Midnight by Thelonius Monk.

We're raising $5,000 with the idea that half of all funds raised would go toward Gordon's Celebration of Life and the other half would help us make a contribution to an organization that supports youth music programs in the city of New Orleans. The Ellis Marsalis Center for Music.

The Ellis Marsalis Center for Music broadens opportunities for under-served children, youth and musicians. It provides a safe, positive environment where under-served children and youth develop musically, academically and socially. The Center also delivers strategic assistance and tools to Village musicians that can enhance their professional growth and offers opportunities for musicians throughout the city of New Orleans to perform and record. The Ellis Marsalis Center for Music deeply values its connection to the surrounding community and endeavors to be an ongoing source of information and cultural inspiration to residents of the Ninth Ward in particular, and to the broader New Orleans community as a whole.
