In memory of Giovanni Ibarra

Mi nombre es ileana y tengo un day care en casa desde el año 2005. Conocí a la familia Ibarra y sus niños en el año 2019. La familia consta de mamá Maria, papá Ricardo, sus hijos Karla 14 años, Carlos 6 años y Giovanni 10 años.

Yo los he cuidado y visto crecer durante estos últimos 4 años. Ha sido un placer conocer a Gio como le llamaban de cariño. Gio siempre saludaba con una sonrisa, cuidaba mucho a su hermanito menor y gustaba de los video juegos.

Desde muy pequeño a Giovanni le diagnosticaron Leucemia y tuvo que luchar contra esta enfermedad desde muy temprana edad.

Este año recibió muchos tratamientos médicos para mejorar su salud incluyendo dos trasplantes de medula ósea, pero desafortunadamente no tuvieron los resultados esperados y Giovanni falleció este domingo 09/24/2023

Mamá María dejó de trabajar para acompañar a su hijo en las citas médicas, antes, durante y después de las operaciones y papá Ricardo también ha tenido que ausentarse muchos días de su trabajo. Han tenido muchos gastos que no alcanzan a cubrir con tan poco ingreso.

Estamos recaudando fondos para la familia Ibarra, queremos ayudarlos en todos los gastos posibles y quitarles un poco de preocupación en estos momentos tan difíciles.

My name is Ileana and I have had a home daycare since 2005. I met the Ibarra family and their children in 2019. The family consists of mother Maria, father Ricardo, their children Karla, 14 years old, Carlos, 6 years old. and Giovanni 10 years old.

I have taken care of the children and watched them grow over the last 4 years. It has been a pleasure to meet Gio as we called him affectionately. Gio always greeted everyone with a smile, took great care of his siblings and liked video games.

From a very young age, Giovanni was diagnosed with Leukemia and had to fight this disease from an early age.

This year he received many medical treatments to improve his health including two bone marrow transplants, but unfortunately, they did not have the expected results and Giovanni passed away this Sunday 09/24/2023.

María stopped working to accompany her son to medical appointments, before, during and after the surgeries and treatments, and Ricardo has also had to be absent from work for many days. They have had many expenses that they cannot cover with such little income.

We are raising funds for the Ibarra family because we want to help them with all possible expenses and take some of their worries away during these difficult times.
