It is with heavy hearts and immense deep sorrow that on Tuesday June 22nd , this world tragically lost a loving, kind 11 year old, Giovanni J. Bourne.  There are no words to describe the enormity of this loss to his family, friends and our community.

The Bourne family needs our love and support more than ever. Many specific needs will be forthcoming but our hope is that this GoFundMe will help ease some of their immediate burdens.

A message from the family:

“On June 22nd, 2021, our sweet 11 year old boy passed away unexpectedly.  Gio was the most caring, loving, compassionate child you could imagine.  He loved playing football, lacrosse, being outside or simply spending time with his family.  He had a soft spot for cats but truly loved all animals.  From a very young age, we knew Gio was destined to do great things.  He had dreams of becoming a doctor or working for NASA and we have no doubt he would have achieved his goals. 

Giovanni’s kind nature and gentle soul will leave a lasting impression in the hearts of all those that knew him and his infectious smile is one you will never forget. 

Please do not compound our pain with anger but rather we ask that you hug your loved ones, listen to their concerns and in the spirit of Gio, show kindness and compassion to each other.”
