In memory of Gerardo “Jerry” Ruiz.

On Tuesday November 17, 2020, Jerry lost his battle from a tragic fall & impact to his head.  He leaves behind his loving mother, two sisters, and a family that loved & adored their Tio Jerry.  In addition, he left behind his extended family & life-long friends who he impacted so much.  He made every single person he ever came in contact with feel special and loved in his own unique way.  He cared for every one of God’s children and really loved connecting and getting to know all.  He was not only a beautiful soul, but the true life of any party.

Today, as we mourn the loss of our brother, our hearts & prayers go out to the family & friends who have loved him in this life.

The outpour of love & support for the family has been tremendous.  In fact,  everyone is asking what they can do to show support for him & his family.  Since he left this earth way too soon, the family is picking up the pieces and making arrangements he never got around to plan for.

It was through a friend’s suggestion that we put this GoFundMe together so the family has the resources to give him a proper send off, and also support his beloved mother whom he also helped his sisters care for financially.

If you know Jerry & his family well, they are very humble beautiful people. So any act of kindness, well wish or loving prayer will be well received.
