On April 14th, 2026, George Mauricio was enjoying a typical day at work. He got to work at about 6am to start his daily routine. He got in his Ready-Mix truck and headed out.

At 7:50am, George was heading westbound on the I-10 when a semi-truck heading eastbound on the I-10 crossed over the center median and entered the westbound lane of traffic. Tragically, colliding with the front of George's Ready-Mix truck. George was pronounced dead at the scene.

George Mauricio was a very kind and extremely loving man. He loved driving his truck, going camping, hiking, horseback riding and being with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Sarah, stepchildren Trenten and Ashlynn along with grandson baby Dean.
